HighQuest Partners LLC (“HighQuest”), a strategy advisory and management consulting firm serving clients in the global food and agriculture sector is expanding its team and seeks to hire dynamic, high-performing individuals for Associate positions. HighQuest focuses on delivering specialized, high-performance advisory/consulting expertise to clients and creating a positive development environment for team members.
At HighQuest, Associates work on client engagements and contribute to the development of internal industry expertise and firm-building activities.
Candidates must possess strong analytical/problem solving skills and be attentive to detail. Equally important, prospective hires must demonstrate a genuine interest in the food and agricultural value chain and must be able to conduct themselves at a high level of professionalism in both telephone and face-to-face interactions with clients and other outside contacts.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Structure in-depth analyses in support of identified opportunities and challenges for clients.

Research, organize, and analyze market intelligence, data and trends on the food/ag supply chain on consumer demand, trade, economic, and related data for investors and industry players.

Engage in cold calls and technical interviews with industry experts.

Collaborate with other analysts and managers in producing high-quality client deliverables, including PowerPoint decks and Word documents that leverage analytical findings and insights into actionable recommendations for clients.

Compose effective charts and graphs.

Support HighQuest practice leadership in business development and developing thought leadership, and in improving the overall quality and productivity of the practice.
Basic Qualifications (required):
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in finance, economics, agricultural economics or engineering (and other liberal arts majors).

Written and oral fluency in English.

Proficiency in Microsoft platforms (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Keynote presentation.

Ability to work in the U.S. with unlimited work authorization (Green Card or US Citizen).
Other Qualifications:

12-18 months working for a reputable consulting firm or equivalent experience.

Some proficiency in a major language other than English.

Strong problem solving, analytical and research skills.

Proven leadership success while working collaboratively within teams

Effective communication (oral & written) skills – especially the ability to structure clear, logical written communications.

Strong quantitative skills.

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to plan work-flow and meet critical deadlines.
